Backlink in AHREFs

Example: I own domain1.com
I made 2themoney.com an add-on domain with the host.

In AHREF's on an internal page on 2themoney.com/article1, it is showing one page backlinking to it.

2themoney.domain1 dot.com/deep-page

SO I can get to2themoney.com/deep-page from this link or 2themoney.domain1 dot.com/deep-page

I know this is fundamentally wrong on shared hosting plans.
So what is going on here or how can I fix it?
