So is Google Doc is safe to use as business attactment?

happen one of my relative want to use google doc instead MS office send business related stuffs.

he just testing the google doc, by default it will lock and need pass from him
which he test send the attactment to me.

I use google doc for seo , some folks claim google doc can help a bit on seo as it will get index

so means my relative is right? he claim no safe to use google doc as other can see
